Nursery Assistant, Part Time

Are you passionate about plants and have a green thumb? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Part Time Nursery Assistant. As a Nursery Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in helping us care for and cultivate a wide variety of plants and trees, while providing exceptional customer service.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Assisting with propagating, planting, pruning, and transplanting plants and trees.
Ensuring the health and well-being of nursery stock by watering, fertilising, and monitoring plant health.
Providing top-notch customer service by helping customers select and care for plants.
Maintaining accurate inventory records and keeping our nursery displays organised.
Collaborating with our team to maintain a clean and inviting nursery environment.
To be successful, you will have:
Previous experience and/or qualification in horticulture or similar field preferred
Basic knowledge of plant care and maintenance.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
A strong willingness to learn and adapt to new horticultural techniques including propagation.
Be available to work on Saturday and/or Sunday if required.
